Below is our ongoing list of wrestling injuries. Please keep in mind these are serious injuries and not just bumps and bruises that often occur. We’ll update this page as information becomes available.
Boa – Shoulder surgery in November 2019.
Edge – Reportedly suffered triceps injury while filming Backlash match against Randy Orton. Possibly out for 8 months.
Elias – Reportedly suffered torn pectoral muscle in May 2020. Return date unknown.
Ember Moon – Suffered Achilles injury in Fall 2019. She’s reported it could be career-threatening.
Kalisto – Separated shoulder in December 2019. No surgery, but still out of action.
Karen Q – Broke her leg on 7/27/19. Had another surgery in February 2020.
Jason Jordan – Neck surgery in February 2018, has worked in producer role. Indefinitely out of action.
Jessamyn Duke – Double elbow surgery in January 2020.
Jimmy Uso – Suffered knee injury at WrestleMania 36. Reportedly out for 6-9 months.
Jinder Mahal – Had a second knee surgery around the start of June 2020.
Kavita Devi – ACL surgery in August 2019.
Lars Sullivan – Suffered knee injury in Summer 2019. Said to be out 6-9 months with possible return in June 2020.
Mickie James – Tore ACL on 7/16/19. Out seven to nine months.
Rezar – Suffered torn bicep on 3/9 Raw. Underwent surgery, likely out for remainder of 2020.
Ronda Rousey – Broke her finger at WrestleMania 35 and required surgery to repair. Suffered another gruesome finger injury in Aug. 2019.
Samoa Joe – Suffered injury in February 2020 during WWE commercial shoot. Returned to Raw commentary on April 27th.
Xavier Woods – Suffered Achilles injury in November 2019 during Australian tour. Underwent surgery. Out of action indefinitely with re-evaluation date reportedly in May.
Britt Baker – Suffered leg injury on 5/20 Dynamite. Says she’ll be back by All Out in September 2020.
Fenix – Injured ankle before Double or Nothing in May 2020. Return pending.
Kris Statlander – Suffered high grade ACL tear on 6/10/20 Dynamite. Will undergo surgery and be out of action for some time.
Matt Jackson – Reportedly broke a rib on 5/20 Dynamite.
Rich Swann – Broke his leg in January. Had surgery on 1/23.
Rob Van Dam – Broken rib in February 2020. In-ring return pending.
