WWE confirmed to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that NXT star Velveteen Dream was involved in a car accident on Friday, but he has since been released from the hospital.

While details of the accident are unknown at this time, there’s been hints on Twitter that Dream may not have been wearing a seat belt.
Based on the timing of tweets that suggested Velveteen Dream’s days in WWE are numbered, it’s not a huge stretch to say this accident could somehow play a part in that happening.
