Tessa Blanchard Pulled From Indie Booking Over Allegations

Tessa Blanchard has been removed from her scheduled booking for Heavy Metal Pro Wrestling in San Antonio, Texas on 1/24.

She lost the booking over allegations of racism and bullying that surfaced on Saturday afternoon, the hours leading up to her historic main event match against Sami Callihan for the Impact Wrestling World Championship at tonight’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view.

Below is the updated lineup for the show:

We have a detailed update about what is going on with Blanchard and how the allegations started here at WrestlePages.com.

As noted, the most interesting thing will be whether or not Impact chooses to put Blanchard over for their World Title tonight. By all accounts, that was the direction they were headed before the allegations. Obviously nothing is final until it’s final but anyone that has followed the product in the build to this match could see what was coming.

We’ll have coverage of Impact Wrestling’s Hard to Kill pay-per-view later here at WrestlePages.com.
